A small band of hardy members braved miserable wet and cold conditions to attend the recent Woolmers Festival of Roses event. Unfortunately, the day was virtually washed out (the pictures tell the story) but you can see pictures from this event in previous years, in our earlier galleries. It was great to see some of the Southerners here to "enjoy" it, including Glen and Carol Clements and Des and Jenni.

Six club cars attended the Rotary Car Show at Westbury. Over 200 cars in all were present, making for a great day of browsing in perfect weather.

Some 20 members attended this years AGM in Oatlands, and were treated to the usual morning tea before the meeting, and a wonderful lunch afterwards.

A trip to the Beaconsfield Mine and Museum, followed by lunch at Beauty Point. A terrific day, great weather, and a good turnout of cars.

This perennial favourite event was held at Entally Lodge, at Rutherglen. A full house of 60 people attended, for a great meal in great company. An added bonus was the display of some rare and desirable cars right outside the restaurant door.

The Northern Cat Chat evening was host to a Trivia Night, jointly staged between the JCCT and the MG Car Club. Our thanks to MC Danny for a great night.

An enthusiastic group of 34 members attended the run to Eaglehawk Neck, to partake in the seafood luncheon at the Lufra Hotel. Quite a few left the hotel early to go sightseeing, so are missing from the group shots.

A good crowd of members enjoyed a run to Devonport to the Bass Strait Maritime Centre. On the way, we enjoyed a great lunch at the Sassafrass Conservatory at Parramatta Creek. Terrific food, and a relaxing and enjoyable day out.

A small friendly dinner was held to co-incide with a Hobart visit by longtime club member Wandy McIntyre-Leake. Since her move to the mainland some years ago, Wandy has tried to visit as often as possible, especially for special events such as AGMs. Wandy was presented with her 40-year membership badge by President Allister, and shared the dinner occasion with some 16 fellow club members.

Southern members recently held a 'General Knowledge and Cryptic Run' to a mystery location. Nine cars attended, and a fun time was had by all.

The club joined in the Rotary car display day at the Westbury Showgrounds recently. Following a preliminary morning tea and tour of the Westbury Gingerbread Cottages (thanks Danny and Amanda!) the cars moved to the showgrounds for display. Lots of interesting cars, great weather.

A mystery run in the country, with clues to find on the way. A group of 11 cars met at the Village Green in Westbury, before wending off via country roads to have lunch in Sheffield. Then more mystery meanderings, finally finishing at the beautiful home of organisers Barry and Jacqueline Reynolds, where a sumptuous afternoon tea was waiting. A terrific day, loads of fun, and great Tassie summer weather.
